Ode to the Food Guide

What a shameful day, that first Wednesday. The Evil-Sons-of-Bitches moved the Food Guide publication day up to Wednesday! Thursday, Food Guide day, would be no more. For shame! Wednesday is Dorsey day, it is well known. The Evil-Sons-of-Bitches care not for Dorsey, care not for us, care not for the ways of the past. We, the Members of Food Guide Orthodoxy, therefore present a growing collection of Food Guide art, as an ode to the once great Food Guide Thursday.

Treasure Island, the proudest and most prominent advertiser in the Food Guide, displays weekly a small crappy art-blurb in the upper-right-hand of their ad, it is that art that you will see.

A Word on MoFO Dating. The MoFO date stamping process simulates the date on which The Food Guide would have appeared were it still in normal publication. The date is fed from the newspaper into The MoFO Date Conversion Algorithm, a highly complex system of fomulae that converts 'new Food Guide' dates into orthodox Food Guide dates. The Algortihm generates a 'pseudo-date' (P-Date) that must be further converted to the standard form.
